This course provides the basic information required for employees who use, handle, store, dispose or work in the vicinity of controlled products, including:

• Introduction to WHMIS15
• Overview of regulations and legislation
• What is “WHMIS”?
• Classifications of hazardous materials
• Labelling (supplier labels, workplace labels)
• Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
• Review information about environmental responsibility
• Written exam

Duration: 3-4 hours
Cost: $75 per person

Option: Can be combined with the Forklift Safety Refresher or Transportation of Dangerous Goods course on the same day.
